Clowns
Los Excéntricos are Marceline, Sylvestre and Zaza. Three French – or perhaps Catalan – clowns… well, who cares? Because their homeland is the earth, and they have devoted more than
twenty years to spreading happiness throughout the world, from England to China, from Canada to Japan. Acrobats, jugglers and musicians, Los Excéntricos form an atypical trio which has
renewed the figure of the clown thanks to their surrealist poetics and have found a balance between modernity and classicism.
With a simple language, direct and warm with the audience, Los Excéntricos present to us Rococó Bananas, their new show, premiered this same year in the Ateneu de Nou Barris in
Barcelona and in Le Cratère, Scène Nationale d’Alès. The talent, good musical taste and gestural expression of the three clowns reveals to us a prodigious and surprising world that aims
straight for the heart and the intelligence and will fascinate all audiences.
