To bring the TNC into the circuit of European theatre projects and connect it with the most important theatres in Europe, from the 2021/2022 season a cycle of new European playwriting will begin through which, each season, two plays by two foreign playwrights from the theatre scene will be translated into Catalan and performed at the TNC under two foreign directors with Catalan actors. This same process will also take place in reverse and the TNC will propose two Catalan plays, which will be translated into a foreign language, and two Catalan directors who will work with foreign artistic teams. On this first occasion, the TNC will host the reading of Dúnia, by Taha Adnan and, Gif, by Lot Vekemans. Moreover, the two Catalan plays that will be seen at the KVS in Brussels on 3 and 4 June 2022 are L’home sense veu, by Clàudia Cedó (directed by Juan Pablo Miranda), and Breve historia del ferrocarril español, by Joan Yago (directed by Montse Rodríguez).
