Mercè Sarrias, playwright and journalist, was born in Barcelona in 1966. As a scriptwriter, she has extensive experience in TV series such as Porca Misèria, Jet lag and Plats bruts. Outstanding in her theatre production are: Al tren (1995); Àfrica 30 (Ignasi Iglésias Award Second María Teresa de León Award for female playwrights in 1996); La dona i el detectiu (2000), and En defensa dels mosquits albins, which premiered in the Sala Tallers in the 2006/2007 season in the framework of Projecte T6.
An eminent forensic doctor has died. The police maintain that it was an accident, but his daughter, also a forensic doctor, starts an investigation to clarify the events. The process becomes a journey through herself, her childhood and the events that have most deeply marked her life, such as the disappearance of her father and the discovery of her vocation. An opportunity to discover why she is the way she is, why she runs away when someone declares their love for her; why she sometimes feels the pressing need to lose herself in the city. And why she likes airports and long-distance trains, packing and unpacking suitcases.
