Dance The Teatre Nacional de Catalunya continues to support productions and innovation in the world of dance with its Projecte T6-dansa, which reaches its third year with a new proposal. This time, three choreographers with established careers, Montse Colomé, Santiago Sempere and Tomeo Vergés, will be inspired by the work and figure of Caterina Albert, best known by the pseudonym of Víctor Català, author, among others, of the famous novel Solitud (1905). Montse Colomé has had a long and varied career. She has worked with people such as Joan Font or Carles Santos, has created choreographies for musicals such as La botiga dels soldats or Paradís, among others, and for operas such as Peter Grimes or The Magic Flute. She has also participated in the choreographies of great events such as the Barcelona Olympic Games or the Universal Exhibition in Lisbon. Born in Aldaia (Valencia), Santiago Sempere has lived in France for thirty years. He has a degree in Performing Arts from the University of Paris VIII and has had his own company since 1984. He has received numerous international awards, such as the Leonardo da Vinci, the Villa Kujoyama de Kyoto and that of the Beaumarchais Foundation in Paris. Tomeu Vergés also lives in France, where in 1992 he founded his company, Man Drake, with which he has created productions full of surrealist humour such as Chair de Poule, Asphyxies, Pas de Panique, Radiations-Ondes-Turbulences or Idiotas, his latest piece.
