If Catalonia has produced a handful of unquestionable universal artists, these must include Carmen Amaya, who managed to get her name alongside those of the most important 20th century creators. La Capitana is a journey through different artistic disciplines, which seeks to drink from the dynamism with which flamenco art has surpassed all kinds of creative borders, to bring us closer to this extraordinary gypsy and universal woman.
