Llull a la Ciutat Nova

  • Teresa Vilardell and Miquel Casamayor
  • Directed by Teresa Vilardell
  • Sala Tallers
  • 27/10/16 al 28/10/16

Ramon Llull lived in cities inhabited by people from diverse cultures and religions: Christians, Jews and Muslims. As do we.
Llull a la Ciutat Nova is a production that finds its momentum in Llull's work and activism, and, through the performance,  seeks to express the difficulties of dialogue but also the desire for coexistence in a world in which violence and fear of the Other often replace the fraternal embrace between religions, beliefs, cultures and countries.  It brings together Llull's poetic words and the contemporary experiences of people of diverse beliefs and countries who participate in it.
