Mystery, humor and mysticism
Mal de Coraçon is born out of the fascination with Saint Teresa of Ávila.
Why are the texts of a 16th century nun still so challenging?
This time we will not ask these questions alone; we will ask them with the playwright, Andrea Jiménez, from the Madrid company Teatro en Vilo.

Victoria explained that it is said that Saint Teresa was “completely free and completely obedient”, and it is this explosive combination that we want to explore. An uninhibited theatre form, which mixes genres, textualities, languages and fiction. Where the dreamful meets the performative with a great sense of humour. We will be freed to be obedient. “It used to give me great delight to think of my soul as a garden and of the Lord as walking in it.” We would be delighted for you to come to our garden.
