- A production by Davide Carnevali and Albert Arribas
- Directed by Albert Arribas
- Sala Petita
- 06/07/17 al 16/07/17
Davide Carnevali, an Italian playwright living in Barcelona and with a wide-ranging international career, recipient in his country of the National Prize for New Playwriting, has accepted the commission of the Teatre Nacional to tackle the groundbreaking strength of Pasolini's Teorema with the aim of challenging the real political ─ transforming ─ capacity of the artistic gesture and the renewal of the linguistic codes.
Carnevali has re-approached the text relating it with its sources, the Holy Scriptures, while trying to establish a new dialogue with contemporary times. This does not mean that the play speaks with a simple language, rather the contrary: the objective is to create controversy with today's aesthetics and language, as Pasolini wanted for his Teorema fifty years ago.
