Èdip & Antígona

Èdip & Antígona

We travel to the very heart of our culture, to the absolute upheaval of all certainties

After successfully adapting La plaça del Diamant by Mercè Rodoreda, which was seen in the Sala Gran of the TNC, Carlota Subirós surrounds herself with a great team to approach two great myths: Oedipus and Antigone.

In this free version of the three great tragedies of Sophocles – Oedipus Rex, Oedipus at Colonus and Antigone – we travel to the very heart of our culture, to the absolute upheaval of all certainties where, amidst the unleashed violence, Antigone's voice cries out loudly for mercy, for human dignity, for love instead of hatred.
