The war is over. A woman awaits the return of her husband, a concentration camp prisoner, while she is in love with another man with whom she has participated in the resistance during the conflict, and who is helping her to find her husband while also assisting other families to find their missing relatives. An interminable search, without knowing if the man she is waiting for is alive or dead, which will bring her face to face with some of the numerous survivors of the indignities of war.

 

Ariadna Gil performs this autobiographical story directed by Lurdes Barba. A heartbreaking introspection of the intimacy of the writer, with all her contradictions, which at the same time dissects the upheavals of a period of suffering with extreme delicacy and devoid of any kind of grandiloquence.
