El sonall

El sonall

An immersive game, a guided tour of the museum of oblivion

El sonall is an immersive performance that dissolves the boundaries between audience and stage. With live music and a 360-degree staging, the piece invites you to choose your own point of view as, all around you, the investigation of a real case unfolds: that of Catalina Muñoz, executed in September 1936 and buried in a mass grave in Palencia with her nine‑month‑old son’s rattle.

The work traces a deeply personal journey as we discover how, 83 years later —and following an excavation beneath a children’s playground— the rattle is found and returned to its rightful owner, now in his eighties.

A striking, emotionally charged theatrical experience that is both an exercise in historical memory and an act of reparation.
