Coinciding with the twenty-fifth anniversary of the company, Sasha Waltz returns to the start of her career as a creator and seeks once again to dialogue with other art forms. On this occasion, she collaborates with the fashion designer Iris van Herper, the lighting designer Urs Schönebaum and the music group Soundwalk Collective using an interdisciplinary approach.
In Kreatur, Sasha Waltz and her fourteen dancers explore the phenomenon of existence against the background of a disrupted society: power and lack of power, dominance and weakness, freedom and control, community and isolation.
