La Chana is one of the most important flamenco dancers in the country and internationally renowned. In 2013, her performance at the TNC earned her a standing ovation from the auditorium of the Sala Gran during the premiere of La Capitana, a tribute to Carmen Amaya in which she participated.
This moving moment has been recorded in the documentary about her by the Croatian director living in Barcelona Lucija Stojevic, presented in 2016 at the International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam, where it won the Audience Award. The TNC will present its premiere in Spain, with the presence once again of this great flamenco star.
