La senyora Florentina i el seu amor Homer
TICKETS SOLD OUT
In early 20th century Barcelona, the sadness of a single piano teacher becomes the vigorous process of construction of a strong free character faced with the pace of a world of male desires. A celebration of female independence that in the Republican exile of its author also becomes a lucid call for democratic values.
Conceived from the direct dialogue with a stage tradition interrupted by the Spanish Civil War, in an exquisite balance between irony and continuity, Mercè Rodoreda's drama is a fundamental piece to understand such a relevant voice in 20th century European literature.
