Joseph Haydn i Carlo Goldoni

The Haydn and Goldoni's musical party that will allow us to discover which one of the lovers of the young Grilletta will end up winning her heart.

In collaboration with the Orquestra Simfònica de Barcelona i Nacional de Catalunya (OBC), and under the baton of its guest conductor Jan Willem de Vriend, the Dutch production of this opera buffa comes to Catalonia, with libretto by Carlo Goldoni, which Haydn composed to open the theatre of the Esterházy Palace in 1768.

Eva Buchmann is responsible for staging this amusing love square, in which an apothecary of advanced years competes for the favours of the young Grilletta with two far more attractive rivals: a rich young man and his pharmaceutical assistant.
