Loneliness

A cry against physical and psychological violence

Movement, physical theatre and video creation come together in this production that explores the human behaviour of excluding what is different, where other people's suffering, ridicule and the moral collapse of the individual become a cruel power game. A committed denouncement of all types of violence and the fact of looking the other way in the face of a phenomenon very much present in secondary schools: bullying.

Loneliness, by the Roberto G. Alonso dance company, seeks to get young people to look at themselves to reflect on verbal, physical and online bullying among teenagers.

Loneliness is born from the need to heal wounds and from the desire to confront an uncomfortable yet undeniable reality: bullying. It aims to be a reminder of our responsibility, a call not to look the other way in the face of a phenomenon that is so present and devastating—a cry against physical and psychological violence.

Through movement, space, music, and audiovisual creation, we explore the human behaviour of excluding those who are different. From a personal perspective, we expose the suffering of others, mockery, and the moral collapse of the individual, turning it into a cruel game of power in which the perpetrator also becomes, at the same time, a victim.

We invite you to let yourselves be carried by this experience, to reflect on our own interactions with others, and to join us in the fight against all forms of exclusion and violence. Only then can we aspire to build a fairer and more empathetic world for everyone.
