Theatre A mythical landscape. An emotional approach to the work of the Catalan writer Jesús Moncada Mequinensa’s starts from the outsider perspective of a new arrival at this border point of Aragon where the Segre and Ebro rivers meet and seeks to pay homage to the narrative work of Jesús Moncada. However, this production also allows us to delve into the peculiar daily life of his native village, with a landscape dominated by the waters of the two rivers, where most of his novels and short stories are set. With dramaturgy by Marc Rosich and directed by Xicu Masó, the play immerses us, with the ironic viewpoint of the author of Camí de Sirga, in a mythical Mequinensa where the dead coexist with the living.
