Pasqual Maragall and Maria Aurèlia Capmany in Mallorca street in Barcelona
The Barcelona Pasqual Maragall and M. Aurèlia Capmany dreamed of.
In 1984, the journalist Xavier Febrés began the collection Diàlegs a Barcelona inviting Maria Aurèlia Capmany and Pasqual Maragall to walk around Barcelona and reflect on their links with the Catalan capital and on the city model they would like to develop.
Over a quarter of a century after the meeting between the writer ‒ who was then Councillor for Culture ‒ and the young mayor, that conversation is a document of exceptional interest for approaching some of the main citizen debates of our time.
