Pitarra: de l’Hospital als Jardins

Taking the monument to Frederic Soler as the starting point, the Pitarrian geography enters Hospital Street and continues along La Rambla until passeig de Gràcia.

A route that will follow the steps of the most premiered Catalan playwright of his time along the two main leisure areas in the Barcelona of the second half of the 19th century. Some of these theatres no longer exist and others hold events more or less linked to the performing arts. However, together they contributed to drawing a cultural map that explains the urban layout of a town in the process of growth.
