From the street to the stage. A documentary theatre play that introduces the audience to the voice, emotion and experiences of the protagonists: the prostitutes.
In Prostitución, the audience experiences desire, need, secrecy, violence, tenderness, pain, pleasure. Paying for sex. Charging for sex. Putting yourself in the shoes of prostitutes, taking the risk and understanding. A show starring Carmen Machi, Nathalie Poza and Carolina Yuste that gives a voice to real testimonies.

The theme: Prostitution. The problem: trafficking and sexual exploitation of women and girls (and everything that derives from it: illegal immigration, drugs, gender-based violence...). The bases of the problem: the commodification of the human being. The industry around the sale of sex, the pleasure industry. Pleasure, another word to stop at. And money, always money. Three actresses committed as women and artists delve into a world full of controversy. Abolition, legalisation, stigmatisation, moral, cultural, religious prejudices, and economic and political interests make prostitution an issue that runs through our society, which affects us all and is unknown to many. Our artistic team will try to bring their voice and emotion closer to the audience. From street interviews to live music, our prostitutes will raise that voice.
Andrés Lima, director of the show.
