Repetir, repetir, repetir

Repeat, repeat, repeat again, repeat oneself, meet again, do it again, remember, recycle, reread, listen again, love again…

Ten years later, we are reuniting with the string quintet with whom we recorded and toured Vestida de nit. We will be the original quintet plus the substitute quintet, all ten of us, celebrating ten years. A mirror. We will repeat.

We will repeat the performance with the poetic vision and accompaniment of Pablo Messiez and Elena Córdoba, carefully attending to the words, the music, and the gestures. We will recycle costumes and set designs from the TNC. We will repeat. 

I repeat the same song, but am I the same?

I wear the same dress, but are my body, my gestures, the same? 

Getting together the same repertoire and the same colleagues makes my changes, my Sílvies, even more evident. Reborn and reborn.
