Tanatologia
Xavier Uriz
What would happen if we wished to end our lives and were assessed by an algorithm that dictates whether we are suitable or not?
In the near future, suicides increase until they reach the level of pandemic. To combat the situation, the government creates the National Division of Psychotanatologists, experts in deciding who can commit suicide and who cannot.
Tanatologia, which won the 10th Llorenç Moyà Theatre Award, is a play about suicide, identity and memory, and a considered reflection on life and death.
