Theatre«Viure, viure, viure sempre: no voldria morir mai.» With the premiere of El comte Arnau, one of the most emblematic poetic works by Joan Maragall, the TNC culminates its own homage to this committed writer and intellectual in a year that commemorates the 150th anniversary of his birth and the centenary of his death. And it does so in a rabidly contemporary production, dramatised and directed by Hermann Bonnín, with music by Lluís Vidal and Mariona Vila, and the participation of the Chamber Choir of the Palau de la Música Catalana on stage. The history of the count, a legendary character well rooted in Catalan popular culture, comes to the Sala Gran with all the honours of a show that promises to be memorable.
