Between spoken, half-spoken and who knows if invented words, Pere Calders' stories play with appearances, misunderstandings and everyday surprises. A journey through the wit and humour of an author who knew that reality is strange enough that, sometimes, all you need to do is explain it. Or explain another one that is very similar to it. There are stories that tell the truth and others that simply explain it better.

With the series El meu clássic, promoted by La Casa dels Clàssics and Institució de les Lletres Catalanes, we approach essential authors of Catalan literature through new languages. Each performance is a unique production, a stage proposal in which words and music intertwine to create an experience that goes beyond a simple reading.
