Els Watson

Laura Wade

A brilliant and witty British comedy

"The characters in Els Watson, Jane Austen’s unfinished novel, has had to wait over two centuries for someone to bring it to the stage and finish the story, from just where the author left it."

Josep Maria Mestres

This British comedy by Laura Wade, directs by Josep Maria Mestres, recovers Jane Austen's novel and suggests an end for Emma Watson and her sisters.

The English playwright Laura Wade, winner of the prestigious Laurence Olivier Award, wrote this contemporary, brilliant and magnetic play, a recent hit in London, which will be seen at the Sala Gran with a cast of 18 actors.
