It is summer. Magda, the old lady living in a big flat in the district of L'Eixample, has been mourning the death of her husband for one month. What helps her to move on are Núria Feliu's records, which she listens to whenever she can, and a photograph of her late husband shaking hands with a former President of the Government. But she no longer bakes her famous muffins, and every day stoically endures the obscenities with which the man in the street insults her when she gives him a tip on her way to the supermarket on the corner. She does not yet know that the former President, in those warm months, will make a public confession that will turn her world upside down.
