The body and its relationship with the virtual world is a recurring theme in the digital age. Where do we feel when we feel? The creator and researcher Juan Miranda has devised a space for creation, dialogue and listening with and for adolescents. Quan jo dic amor explores sexuality, emotions, identity and family in adolescence within an installation and dynamic space where visitors decide how they inhabit it; a communion between theatre, video and performance.

EL ARDOR

Díptico de los montes románticos
Alberto Cortés
10/04 at 7 pm Sala Tallers
Length: 60 min
Production in Spanish with subtitles in English
SOLD OUT!

Alberto Cortés proposes a romantic delirium: playing with the idea of an ardour understood as an eternal desire, as a flame that never extinguishes and that goes beyond the consumption of bodies in the capitalist emotional framework. Influenced by the ideas of post-anarchism, what seems like a vampiric speech about how to bring together street gangs of marginal bodies and make them immortal becomes a love song to the poetry that exists when inhabiting identity through fire.

one night at the golden bar

Díptico de los montes románticos
Alberto Cortés
11/04 at 7 pm
Sala Tallers
Length: 55 min
Production in Spanish with subtitles in English
SOLD OUT!

On this occasion, the Andalusian artist proposes a corny and musical declaration of love from a queer perspective; the search for a state of vulnerability that reveals the power of affection and the beauty that is hidden in fragility. The figure of the angel conducts a ritual that makes purity rub up against torment, the open crack that exists between protecting ourselves from stark love and at the same time falling in love with a man as an object of desire.

PARAULES D'AMOR

Núria Güell
Sala Tallers 13 and 14/04 at 6 pm
Length: 60 min
Production in Catalan and Spanish with subtitles in English

Taking or giving life in the name of love may seem inevitable and the causes may be multiple, but after committing violence in the name of love, what is left? There are many voices that point to a certain notion of love – romantic, neurotic or passionate – as the main form of alienation in our society. Núria Güell, who understands her artistic practice as one of social confrontation, invites us to take action with Paraules d'amor, a piece created expressly for ZIP.

DIEstinguished

La Ribot
Sala Petita 13 and 14/04 at 7 pm
Length: 60 min
SOLD OUT!

La Ribot presents a dance and video piece that conceives dance as an experience in which cameras become playmates. What would an arm, a belly, or even a toe see? In DIEstinguished everything is in constant motion; from one thing to another, from one life to another life, from one world to another world. Love as a generative idea. Without love there would only be interest, impossibility and denial.

SOUNDS OF AN IMAGINED ARCA

CLARAGUILAR
Sala Tallers gardens
13/04 at 10 pm
Length: 60 min

CLARAGUILAR and her soundscapes invite us to imagine new forms of coexistence, new social bonds and connections between species in a post-apocalyptic context. Sounds of an Imagined Arca is an immersive concert of electronic and ambient music with elements of performance and dance that revives the sound universe created for the show Arcas 2020 by the collective VVAA.
